The McKenzie Pantry Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to eliminate hunger in underserved communities. We provide access to nutritious food and other community based needs. We promote healthy meals, nutrition education, and resources to improve health. Through excellent service, progressive resources and compassion, The McKenzie Pantry Foundation, Inc. has 1 Goal, to feed souls.
About Us
The McKenzie Pantry Foundation, Inc first grew its roots by opening a pantry in Yorkwood Elementary School located in Baltimore, MD. Our President, Toussant McKenzie, is a child care service provider who often visited this school to pick up kids for her daycare. Though certain students were able to receive free meals for lunch, our President frequently noticed that an overflow of students also needed meals for after school and during the weekend. That’s when our President shared the idea with her family, and The McKenzie Pantry Foundation was born.
